Mimi was amazing. She was an awesome tour guide and she knew about the history of the area very well. The tour is some walking but it’s nofhinf unbearable and there are frequent stops
Our first guide, Jordan, was very informative! He took us through the Napolitan House which apparently he is the only person with access. His stories brought every location to light. It was very cool to hear about the history of the city, the architecture and the ghost stories that tie everything together. Our second tour, the Love Gone Bad tour, took us on a different journey down the road of love and lust. Our guide took us to specific locations to tell us the gruesome history of how love had gone bad in each house. She painted pictures of these horrific scenes and took us back in time as if we were a fly on the wall. While most of these locations were I’m sure occupied at this point, it would have been cool to be able to walk through one space and have a change of scenery. At the end of the night our guide dropped us off for a drag show where our bachelorette party had a VIP table right in front. These tours are perfect for us off beat brides that want a little adventure for their bachelorette party. 10 out of 10!
Great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun!
Awesome tour. Highly recommended. Our tour guide Jordan knowledgeable and entertaining! He showed us some really neat locations and told us interesting stories above and beyond the typical ones everyone already knows.
We did quite a few tours over the years in New Orleans, and hands down this was the best tour. Our guide Jordan was extremely knowledgeable and well spoken. The tour included many places that others omitted, and touched on stories that were not the standard tour stops. Can’t recommend it enough!
Tour guide was Brett I believe. He was friendly and very knowledgeable but his delivery style was not my cup of tea. His storytelling was more of a theatrical performance. The tour was not spooky or scary at all, and we didn’t hear of any ghost stories. It was a nice history lesson though. I would recommend this tour if you’re looking to be educated about the history of New Orleans, but not if you’re looking to hear of cool ghost stories or go into any haunted buildings.
My husband and I really enjoyed this tour and we learned a lot. Our guide is a local and seemed to know a lot about New Orleans, both current and history. It was obvious that she has done a lot of research and wanted to share the true, verified history, while pointing out folklore and colorful stories. She tailored the tour to the interests of the group and we had a lot of fun. We highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Jordan did a fantastic job. He not only added facts and well told stories, he also had a great sense of humor. I enjoyed every story and joke he threw our way. I definitely recommend this tour for people who want to hear some great history and well told ghost stories in the French Quarter. We got to explore the Napoleon House and enjoyed the history behind the beautiful place. He took the time to get to know all of us and even took questions. It made it more personable. It was a great time. I really liked how Jordan stayed behind after the group left to make sure my daughter and I were going to be safe in the French Quarter, it spoke volumes. Well done French Quarter History and Ghost Buster Tour. I give it a five rating for sure.
